We provide detailed legal advice in relation to your legal position and such agreements, and also (if you wish) amend the Agreements to ensure that they are commercially acceptable to be signed.
We always look at the wording of settlement agreements (which can be drafted very pro employer) , and consider amendments to the wording, and also advise in relation to non competition law issues where relevant. We often amend the agreements, if the client so wishes, to make these commercially acceptable for the client to sign.

Settlement Agreements (also known as Compromise or Severance Agreements) consist of bread and butter work in relation to any employment lawyers such as our firm. We however take such agreements seirously and provide detailed advice to our clients in relation to both the terms of the agreement and their legal rights.
The agreements are typically very onerous and it is necessary to amend these to protect our clients including in relation to any repayment of money clauses.

The employer will pay a contribution towards our reasonable costs. It is not unusual for us to negotiate enhanced cost contribution terms for our clients. We will advise if we feel that what our clients are being offered is just not enough, and we will also run through the various litigation claims which our clients may have.
